Valencia CF play a rescheduled LaLiga Matchday 12 game against Real Madrid on January 3rd. The fixture was previously postponed due to the DANA tragedy that hit the Valencia region.
The team come into the game off two consecutive draws, and winless in their last five games in the domestic competition. The contest will be the first match in charge for new coach Carlos Corberán, and his first experience in LaLiga.
Real Madrid CF are the reigning champions, and won their most recent fixture against Sevilla FC. They were also crowned Intercontinental Cup winners in December.
In LaLiga, they have 12 wins, 5 draws and 1 defeat in 18 games, and are second in the table with 40 points.
